Book Review: The Naughty List

Tillie Carole is a busy woman.

Between taking care of her nephew and planning the annual Christmas festival at Merry & Bright Farm, personal time is basically nonexistent for Tillie at this point. Nevertheless, somehow, her sister convinces her to attempt a speed dating session between meetings at the farm - an idea she regrets the moment Elliott Winters walks up to her table.

…and then right into the middle of meeting Tillie has with his mother thirty minutes later.

Elliott has nothing but time on his hands.

After realizing the grass isn’t greener in the corporate world, Elliott is back on the farm ready to plan the annual Christmas festival. That is, until his mother drops the bomb she outsourced the planning to an outsider.

…And not just any outsider. It’s Tillie Carole. The smokeshow with the stick up her
you know what that he had the displeasure of meeting at a speed dating event.

Can they put their differences aside for the sake of the festival or will Tillie and Elliott end up on the naughty list?

My Review

After reading The Nice List, I could not wait to read this book. It did not disappoint. In fact, I was laughing so much that I might have shed a few laugh tears. My face hurts from grinning so hard. Tillie was being a grump during their first meet and greet, so in a way I don't blame Elliott for calling Tillie out on her attitude. Yet, Tillie put Elliott in his place and thus the nickname "Firecracker".

With each interaction, the chemistry does start building more and more. Well maybe more for Elliott in the beginning. Once these two realized they were better off with each other then as enemies, what out for the fireworks! There was a "naughty" moment.

If you are looking for your next laughable, holiday read, pick up a copy of this novella.
