Book Review: BALL-BUSTER

Image
Growing up with four overprotective brothers was chaos. Moving to Chicago for college? Freedom. Until I called my brother’s best friend in a crisis. The same guy I crushed on for years. The same guy who kissed me without realizing who I was. We became friends. Then I got drunk, slept with him, and fell hard. He backed off, claiming I was too young, and my brothers would kill him. So, I tried to move on... with someone dangerous. Someone who nearly ended me. Now I’m back home, working at my brothers’ tattoo shop, trying to ignore the man next door who once pushed me away but now won’t stop chasing me. And while I wait to face my attacker in court, who says I asked for it. I’m just trying to survive. What the f#*$ is my life? One kiss wrecked me. I tried to be her friend, fix her laptop, show up for her art, and help her move. She’s my best friend’s little sister. Which means she's off limits. But I wanted her. I had her. Then I walked away. Biggest mistake of my life. I’m done hid...

Book Review: Tough As Balls

TOUGH AS BALLS, Bearded Dragon Tattoo Parlor Book One Eli Dragon is a talented tattoo artist, an undefeated amateur fighter, and the biggest flirt with the cheesiest pick-up lines. He's also fiercely loyal to his family and protective over the women in his life. From the first time Eli lays eyes on the curvy woman working the bar during one of his fights, he's on a mission. Robin Butler moved to Rockplaines to start a new life with her son after an incident at school. She had to rely on the kindness of her favorite cousin but also had to put her true crime podcast on hold for a bit. With a new career at a radio station, she finds the stability she's looking for. She also finds a man who makes her laugh just as much as he turns her on. When Robin begins researching a local murder case for her podcast, she uncovers some information that could help solve the case....or put her in harm’s way. My Review I absolutely love the Bombshell series. So, I was very excited and looking...

Book Review: SmartAss

Image
The Bombshells Series is coming to an end!!!! Coming April 18th, SMARTASS, Book Four in the Bombshells Series!!! Being a widow is no fun. Not only have you lost the love of your life, but now you’re a single mom of three kids. And when one of your kids starts exhibiting symptoms of the very thing that killed your husband, you do two things. You turn to Dr. Google to make your already worried mind worry more, and you become a mama bear who will take no shit. And that includes from the sexy but dismissive pediatrician. Divorced and in need of a change, Dr. Reid Winston moves to Rockplaines to take over the practice of his former preceptor. A work opportunity for his ex-wife throws Reid into full-time single fatherhood and lands him next door to the woman that probably loathes him the most. While proximity makes them friendly, Sammy’s Smartass mouth makes his hand tingle and her ass sting. My Review I got emotional reading this book. One because Sammy found love again and two becaus...

Book Review: Ass-Backwards

Image
*ASS-BACKWARDS, A Bombshells Series Novella** What do you do when you've hit your limit on terrible dates? Well, if you're Anna Garrett, you decide to swear off relationships all together and start using men for sex. That was the plan....no dates, just orgasms. Since moving to Rockplaines to be closer to his sister, Kyle has had his eyes on one woman. She was curvy and sweet and made him feel like a blathering idiot every time he attempted to talk to her. A few tequila shots, a little flirting and a walk in the woods, finally make for a night that Kyle can't remember, and Anna won't soon forget. But she can't date him, can she? She got what she wanted and is supposed to move on, right? Since when did hooking up get so complicated, and why did this all seem ass-backwards? My Review I love this series so much. Reading this novella brought joy as I got to revisit with old friends. Yes, at this point I consider all of the characters more than just people in books but ...

Book Review: Jackass

Image
JACKASS, Book Three in the Bombshells Series It was only supposed to be a “friends with benefits" arrangement. Very little emphasis on the friend’s part. Alexa couldn’t stand Rhys 90% of the time. His smug arrogance, player reputation and need to flirt with any and all women drove her crazy. But the sex was so good it was hard to say no. Rhys wanted Alexa from the second he saw her. Maybe he only wanted her in his bed at first but the more he got to know her, the more he wanted of her. Her sassy mouth, bratty attitude and strangely enough, her warm heart. When Rhys thinks Alexa is breaking off their arrangement, he’s quick to end it himself. The truth of the situation was more shocking than the fact that he was falling for her. Now they both have to grow up and see if the thing they need most is each other or a bigger line drawn in the sand. The real question is, can he go from total Jackass to relationship material? My Review The wait is almost here. It seemed like forever sinc...
