All she ever wanted was to keep her little sister safe. All he ever wanted was her . When Stella’s beloved younger sister Grace falls ill and is given just months to live, she will do anything in her power to save her. But she never expected the Devil to answer her prayer. That night, Damien steps from the shadows of Stella’s bedroom, devastatingly beautiful and terrifyingly powerful, ready to collect the soul she was desperate enough to promise in exchange for her sister’s life. Dragged beyond the mortal world into the Fringe, a decadent realm suspended above Hell, Stella finds herself surrounded by demons who wear silk and smiles like weapons, shadows that whisper secrets and Hell’s ruthless Council, who are eager to claim what she owes. Every day in Damien’s estate brings new dangers, and a dangerously intoxicating kind of protection. Charming, arrogant and infuriatingly magnetic, Damien insists he can keep her safe… and maybe even save her soul. Stella knows better than to tr...

It was only a dream... Every night, Blaire Barlow wakes up screaming. Her sticky hands are covered in blood from sins she barely remembers. Every morning, the light proves it was only a dream. Real or not, the lack of sleep is tearing her life apart, threatening both her job and her sanity. Desperate, she turns to less than legal measures to cure her nightmares once and for all – the local drug dealer, Winder. Winder denies her, until he is forced to shelter Blaire from a threat no longer contained to her dreams. With no other option, Winder offers protection and insight into the unsettling gaps in Blaire’s memory. The deeper they dig, the closer they come to the truth that could save them both, or damn them forever. Bound by shared secrets, and a growing, forbidden desire, the two must work together to save Blaire’s life. But the truth can be twisted...and we all know how quickly a dream can turn into a nightmare. My Review: Blaire is seeing a de@d body and her hands covered in ...

Book Review: The Labyrinth

When sleeping with monsters, only the strongest will survive. Preorder Book My Review I have been waiting to read this book for months. Nothing could prepare me for this book. Not even all of the teasers. Torri, you absolutely slayed this book! Even after finishing it, I can't think of anything else. I can't even start another book at this time. I am calling it now, but The Labyrinth will be a number one bestseller! As soon as I started reading this book, I was instantly swept within the pages of this story. I ...cough, cough mean Rissa could not get enough of Ten's touch. Forget human men, give me a tall, purple, horned demon. When Ten would call Rissa "deliciae", my knees may have gotten weak. While this book is about Ten and Rissa, I do hope to see Ten's friend, Griffin in the near future get his own story. Torri - You inspired me to write a haiku: When I heard his voice It called to my deepest, darkest, soul With him, I was home

In a dystopian world where the rich get richer and the poor struggle to survive, Tessa is a mad scientist. Or, more accurately, she’s a  pissed off  one. Her father was killed for sport by the wealthy and ever since, Tessa’s had one goal and one goal only -- revenge. Wanting to watch the world burn, she creates a virus no one has ever seen before. One that will turn the evil rich into mindless zombies. There’s only one problem. The virus doesn’t work on the one man Tessa wishes she didn’t know all too well: Rory. When her plans go awry, Rory and Tessa are forced to work together to survive. But can survival ever turn into something more? My Review Tessa is a mad scientist. One that has revenge on her mind. I sure do not want to get on her bad side. Rory may be one of the rich, but he is not stuck up like the rest. Thus, the reason that I warmed up to Rory right away. I felt a charisma about him that made him very attractive. For this reason, I don't blame Tessa for gett...

Three months at the bottom of the ocean inside their submarine, the Siren. Lucy and Tucker jump at the opportunity to do what they both love. Explore, with no limits, and all expenses paid. But the childhood best friends aren’t prepared for everything they discover on the ocean floor. Captain Jack might be an experienced submariner, but he doesn’t seem to enjoy women being in his space.   The Collapse. Otherwise known as the fall of civilization as we know it. You’d think it would’ve taken a lot longer for people to turn on each other. But humans will do anything and everything to sustain their quality of life. Work unsavoury jobs. Take up robbery. Assault. Forced breeding, with babies traded as a commodity. Mila has managed to stay out of reach of the black-market breeders – the Kingsnakes – by living on her own in the woods. Until a routine trip to the city for supplies changes her life of solitude in ways she never expected – and never wanted. Ray never wanted to be a Kingsnake. But caring for his two young sisters means taking extreme measures to keep them from falling victim to the same fate as his captives. Bit by bit he chips away at his soul, protecting his own, keeping food on the table, and still offering a shred of dignity to anyone he can. When Mila shows up at the Kingsnakes’ headquarters, everything changes. The risks Ray takes for his family are sca...

Cam’s a dragon shifter with a secret. He doesn’t mind though, preferring his own company to that of his pack’s. Until one day he stumbles across Charlie hiking alone. Charlie’s got secrets of her own, and she isn’t quite ready to give them up. Cam might be good for a laugh, maybe a night to remember if she can let her guard down, and then she’ll be gone. But their worlds collide in a twist of fate, forcing them to work together and exposing sides of themselves they’ve kept hidden in the dark. Nosedive is a standalone, fast burn paranormal romance. My Review I am a fan of Torri's books. As if she could improve any I was wrong. Her full-length novel, Nosedive is awesome. I just have two words...dragon sex!! Fans of paranormal romance books will want to pick up this book for themselves.  My new favorite couple is Cam and Charlie. The sexual chemistry between them is smoldering hot. I could not get enough of these two. I love Charlie's sassy attitude. She is someone that I would...

Joelle and Luc escaped hell -- barely. But now hell is coming for them on Earth. They know what Joelle can do, and the stakes are raised. Luc is doing his best to stay sane and protect Joelle, which is easier said than done when dealing with the feisty blonde. But the two will have to work together -- even when separated -- to prove that their love is strong enough to overcome even the deadliest of battles. My Review First off I have to say Joelle and Luc forever. These two will not let a "little" thing like the devil stop them from being together. In this final book, Joelle is the one in charge. She kicked some Mare butt! She was not afraid of anyone or anything.  With each book, I have grown to love Luc and Joelle more and more deeply. As I said with the second book that Joelle and Luc are the Bonnie and Clyde of Hell. Luc would go to the depths of Hell for Joelle. These two may have been fighting to keep Earth from being overrun but they still had time for hot sex. If yo...

Here comes The Reckoning

Luc, a demon Mare, and Joelle, the sassy woman he started out tormenting only to fall in love with, must travel to hell to save Joelle from a fate worse than death -- eternal damnation. But when they arrive, they’ll be damned if they’re putting up with what they find. Betrayal, tricks, and a twist of fate have them questioning reality and their love for each other. Will either of them survive? My Review After reading The Ruins, I could not wait to read this book. It did not disappoint. In fact, the sex scenes were hotter. I had to keep a cold glass of water by me to help cool me down.  Joelle has come out of her shell in this book. She is not afraid of Luc. It is right to say that she even was bring the sass. There where several times where Joelle did not let Van, a demon push her buttons but pushed back.  I was not expecting the twist in this story. Boy is it a twist. Yet, if anyone can find a solution, it is Joelle and Luc. They are the Bonnie and Clyde of hell. ...
