Ceri is out with her mother and daughter at Pleasure Island, an amusement park. There Ceri bumps into her ex-lover, Jason. Jason wants to talk to Ceri for a few minutes. It is about a wanted criminal named Peter Crickett. The criminal is Jason’s brother. It seems that Jason’s family was working on a huge break though in technology and artificial organs. Something went wrong and Peter is dead. Ceri’s ex-husband plays a part. Things are about to get interesting. Ok, so this book turned out to be better than I thought it would be. I really liked the new twist on the zombie. Like a techno-zombie. Ceri and Jason worked well together like butter and toast. Of course though they were a little hotter than that. The story while good was predictable…boy and girl break up, boy and girl meet again, boy and girl make up and have a happy ending. Still this book was a good, fast read.
