Irene Hannon writes a great story of two sisters; Laura Griffin and Darcy her half-sister. After their mother's death, Laura decides to take her sister, Darcy and raise her. Like any teenager, Darcy decides to give Laura's way a go. Laura wants things to be done like they have always been done but Darcy rebels at every turn. Darcy finally decides to run away with her friend and goes to Chicago. Darcy does leave a note for Laura letting her know she has ran away. I like this direction that the author strayed from and took with her new book. Even though I knew how the story would go and end, I still have a fun time reading this book.
