Book Review: Winter Bliss with Demons

When an arrogant demon with a taste for the finer things meets a salty chef with an attraction to fire, sparks fly.

Sofia, a talented chef whose culinary dreams have flamed out, is spending her holiday hiding away atop Mount Winter Bliss until she's disrupted by the arrival of Samite, a maddeningly pretentious demon. Sofia is no stranger to facing down big egos in the kitchen. With plenty of salt and steely resolve, she sets the ground rules and strikes her first bargain with a demon.

Samite finds himself stranded atop Mount Winter Bliss at the mercy of an infuriatingly unhelpful human. His ambitions may have been dashed, but there's still hope of saving his fortune if he can get to it. He is hell-bent on getting off of this mountain, and Sofia would gladly whip him up a swift exit except for one major obstacle. An avalanche has buried the only road down the mountain, trapping them together. As they navigate the close quarters of her tiny one-bedroom cabin, more bargains are struck, and the heat continues to rise.

In Holidays Ablaze, indulge in the sizzling spice of Sofia and Samite's fiery encounter against the backdrop of a blissfully snowy mountain. Two opposites, plus snarky banter, grudging respect, and a sprinkling of 'yes, chef' add fuel to the fire.🔥Horned up for the Holidays is a series of three steamy, same-world, stand-alone novellas. My Review

If you love Krampus stories, then you will really love this book. When Samite told Sofia to grab onto his horns while he lifted her up for a "taste"! Samite definitely made up for his first impression. It was so bad that Sofia did not even bother to ask his name.

It was great that Samite saw through Sofia's scars to her inner beauty. She really came out of her shell and blossomed with Samite. I loved every moment of this book. Literally could not stop reading it and finished it in a manner of a couple of hours. Sofia and Samite whipped up some HOT romance!

Just because she’s snowed in with a monster doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy herself a little…or a lot…

Holly loves people. But that doesn’t mean she wants to be around any over the holidays. So, booking an isolated cabin on top of idyllic Mount Winter Bliss is exactly the escape from reality she needs. It’s just her crappy luck that the rental comes with a grumpy, sexy demon groundskeeper—and that an avalanche strands them there. Together…

Azgoran wants nothing to do with people. And since renters who are willing to traipse across dangerous terrain are in short supply, avoiding humans isn’t usually a problem. Until she shows up. Holly is far too tiny, talkative, and…adorable for him. But for some reason, knowing all that doesn’t make it any easier to keep his mind—and hands—off her… The only thing these opposites have in common is forced proximity and a big attraction. Is that enough to get them to happily ever after? Or are they destined for the most unjolly Christmas ever?

Holly’s Unjolly Christmas is a spicy, slightly angsty, contemporary holiday romance novella featuring a reclusive hero with lumberjack vibes and a heroine who puts the sunshine in grumpy/sunshine. My Review

Forced proximity and grumpy/sunshine...yes, please! You could say that Azgoran Holly's first meeting did not go well. Azgoran is a demon of little words. Yet, he makes up for it in other ways. Holly may have gotten under Azgoran skin, but she won him over in the end.

When these two cosplayed her "fantasy", I absolutely was here for it all. two words...sexy lumberjack! I am on the hunt now for my own demon with horns. All the better to grab onto.

It felt like a new reborn for Holly after her divorce. She felt more comfortable in her own skin and the fact that she was able to voice her fantasy was a huge step. Holly's Unjolly Christmas turned into a Jolly one.

This beauty didn’t ask for a beastly bookworm for Christmas, but maybe she should have . . .

All Noelle wants is to save the Winter Bliss library. She has a plan, too—a New Year’s Eve fundraiser during the annual fire-magic festival. The last thing she needs is a distracting romance with the sexy, binge-reading demon she hasn’t seen in over a decade. Too bad fate (and Mount Winter Bliss) has other plans.

Rom only returned to his small hometown to open Perkatory, his family's newest coffee shop. Seeing Noelle again is a welcome surprise, but there’s no way the beautiful librarian could ever fall for a scarred-up monster like him, right?

When an avalanche leaves Noelle and Rom snowed in together, the forced proximity might be their second chance at first love. But will their happily ever after come at the expense of saving Noelle’s beloved library?

Beastly & Bookish is a cozy, contemporary, holiday romance featuring a roller skating librarian and book-loving demon's emotional journey from friends to lovers.

My Review

The other two books in this series are enemies to lovers but this one is friends to lovers. While I loved the other two books a lot, this one just felt really great. It was sweet how Rom and Noelle's friendship started and evolved. Although, both a bit stubborn that they would not admit their true feelings towards one another. There was definite angst between these two.

Although, once Noelle made that first move (woman power), the gloves were off. The hot springs may be hot, but they were HOTTER. Not that I would not already be falling for Rom but when it was revealed that he is a speed reader and his passion for books is just as high as Noelle, he really won my heart. Rom and Noelle got their HEA.
