Running from my problems seemed like a good idea at the time, but staying here in this small little roadside club in Texas is a far cry from where I was last winter. I’m afraid of my sins, but the demon who knows all my flaws is out there searching for me. He’s gone to make sure he’s the only devil in my life.

Each book can be read entirely as a stand alone in any order. This the second book for this couple but can be read with or without the first book: Kentucky Volume. If you are here from Rules of Play, this can also be read as the ending to bad guy Liam's story.

My Review

Cole and Queenie from Kentucky Volume are back!! Cole has grown more obsessed and unhinged with Queenie. She made the mistake of running from Cole. She should have known he would not let her go and not to mention the fact that he loves a chase. 

I laughed when Queenie commented about Cole like this..."I can feel his suffocating presence."

OMG. I fell in love with Queenie and Cole even more with this book. They are amazing. Cole brought out the crazier side of Queenie. The one that had originally brought her to him in the first place. 

"She actually might be trying to kill us."

These two reminded be a bit of Bonnie and Clyde. I am obsessed with them and can't wait to read the next book in this series. Things are always bigger in Texas, and this includes Cole and Queenie's love for each other.
