My Review This is the first book I have read in this series. This book can be read as a stand alone novel. Instant action from the get go. Bobby is the type of leading character that I like to see in series. He can hold his own. He is smart and personable. Two qualities that I enjoy in characters. These qualities can really help make the difference between a "ok" book and a "really good" book. When I am engaged in the characters the story really comes alive. Yet, Bobby was not the only one that was engaging. There is Kate. She could have just given into her situation but she did not.
