Gabrielle Brooks leaves her home of England to find her father, after her mother passes away. Along the way, the ship that Gabrielle is sailing on gets taken over by pirates. Gabrielle becomes a prisoner. Once on an island in the Caribbean, Gabrielle awaits her fate. Gabrielle catches the eye of pirate Pierre Lacross. He wants to make her his, but before he can do so, she is rescued by none other than her father. Nathan loved his daughter very much but he also had a great love for the sea. He was able to keep his life as a pirate from his family till now. He wasn’t prepared for Gabrielle to find out about him this way. After three wonderful, fun-filled years sailing the high seas with her father, Gabrielle is sent back to England to settle down and find a husband. Nathan calls in a favor with an old friend, James Malory. James’s lovely wife, Georgina is happy to have Gabrielle staying with them.
