Book Review: The Order of Disorder

Image
Dragged back to hell. Maxwell Finch thought she’d left the chaos of her past behind when she found refuge with Ryder, Wyatt, Jake, and Damian. But her freedom shatters the night Billy’s men drag her back to the Order of Disorder—the O.D.—where she’s collared, degraded, and pulled into a spiral of humiliation, control, and paranoia. To survive, Max retreats into silence. She lets the club use her body while she disappears inside herself. When two intoxicating strangers offer her a taste of escape, she clings to it...until pleasure blurs with poison, and their refuge drags her deeper into ruin. And then, in the unlikeliest of places, she discovers a tether to the sanctuary she lost—bound inside this nightmare with her. What begins as shock and suspicion transforms into intimacy, and the promise of comfort in the middle of hell. But inside the O.D. clubhouse, surveillance is constant and power is shifting. As Max spirals deeper into darkness, she must cling to the one connection str...

Book Review: Hellbent

She ran from the man who took everything. Now she’s living with four who might take more. Maxwell Finch is barely holding it together when she lands on the doorstep of four ex-special forces operatives who give her a place to land. There’s Ryder—cold, commanding, impossible to crack. Jake—charming and relentless. Damian—dangerous in ways he doesn’t bother to hide. And Wyatt—quiet, steady, and far more than he seems. She doesn’t know what she wants. She only knows she can’t stop wanting them. But the past has a long reach. And it’s catching up fast. HELLBENT  is the first book in a dark, high-heat reverse harem trilogy where loyalty is brutal, desire is dangerous, and love was never part of the plan. My Review It did not take me very long to get into this book. It also did not hurt that this book featured four menacing, sexy men. While, I probably should not have a favorite, I did. My favorite from the first moment I met him is Ryder. That was something about this quiet broo...

Book Review: Haven

Image
Fleeing a violent boyfriend, Hannah has nowhere to go and no one to turn to. When her car breaks down in the tiny town of Haven, Hannah is forced to rely on the kindness of strangers… three tall, strong, and very sexy strangers… Sean, a career criminal, has been trying to build an honest life for himself and his boys for decades. They’re right on the cusp of retirement when a young woman out of options lands on their doorstep, with trouble in hot pursuit. He shouldn’t want her. He’s the dad. But just like his sons, he can’t resist her, and soon all three of them will learn they’ll do anything to keep her. HAVEN is a sizzling standalone reverse harem story with slightly taboo themes and an HEA. My Review This book is a quick read. It is also my second book I have read by this author. Astra really does know how to bring the heat with engaging characters and good storylines. A reverse harem story with mixed with dashes of age gap/older man and "daddy kink"...check, check, check!...
