Book Review: Out of Bounds
Did anyone hear the story about the boss and his assistant who are forced to fake date in order to secure funding? Yeah… It isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Sage Being an assistant is not what I want to do with my life. But when my father arranges a job for me when he thinks I need a push, I can’t say no. However, my new boss? He’s insufferable. He’s cold, callous, and he certainly doesn’t want me there. One heated interaction with my ex ruins everything, and I’m forced into a fake relationship with him. If he wants funding from my father for his basketball team, he has to play nice. In public, he’s all charm and suave gestures. He’s the picture perfect boyfriend. In private, he does things that make me question how fake this is. Things like feeding me when I forget to eat, teaching me confidence in the bedroom, and kissing me when no one is looking.
