My Review If you like reading spicy, brother's best friend reads than you should check out this novella. It is a quick read. You could feel the attraction that Zane and Aspen shared.  The angst that these two projected had me all knotted up in anticipation. They kept running hot but then cold because they were worried about crossing the friend zone into something more. Luckily, they both gave in. I like how Zane was patient with Aspen. It may be cold outside, but it is hot inside.

The city will fall to me and all those who stand in opposition will perish . My Review I absolutely love Christian and Quinn. When Christian would talk to Quinn in French, I melted every time. I really felt for them both. They are just trying to be together, but the mafia life is getting in the way. If you love Harley Quinn and dark romances, you need to read the Arkham Mafia series.  Christian is not a bad guy, but he finds himself doing bad things. All in the name of "love". He would d!e for Quinn. Quinn is stepping up and showing she earned her title of "queen". She and Serena are hatching up a big plan. I can't wait to see ho...

I forgot that this book is a duet. Which makes me even happier.   My Review This is the first romance retelling that I can recall reading about featuring Bonnie and Clyde. I do think the author did a good job of turning this famous couple into more than just outlaws. With this retelling, it was not just about Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie was a wanton woman that had many male lovers. Of the other men, I did like Joe the most. This is because he was the other main male partner of Bonnie's. Yet, when it came to Joe, he really had true emotional feelings for Bonnie besides the physical ones. He treated her like a queen. Clyde was the opposite of Joe. He was rougher but this does not mean that Bonnie did not like this as well. Despite this, I actually was not such a fan of Clyde. Regarding, the other men, they were not as prominent in the story. Which, none were together at the same time with Bonnie. That is what i expect from a harem story. So, I would not call this book a harem book. More of a romance thriller. The ending was a surprise.
