Book Review: Winter's Eve Then, Now, & Always

Image
After walking away from everything he loved a decade ago, Winter King no longer recognizes the man he’s become, the man who tried burying the pain of his past underneath a billion dollar smile, women, and work. When an unexpected turn of fate brings him face to face with his ex-fiancée, Eve Valentine, he can’t hide any longer from the woman of his past, the emptiness of his present, and the tenuous hope of his future. Eve Valentine never imagined she’d be forced to face Winter King again, and then her best friend falls in love with his brother. He says it’s kismet, but she feels like it’s pure, unadulterated torture to her still broken heart. The last thing she intends to offer him is forgiveness. Making a promise to move on, Eve tries, but when everything she’s worked for is jeopardized, the man who used to be her King is her only option. A favor, an outrageous bid, and a date can’t lead to a second chance. Can it? My Review I was first introduced to Winter and Eve from Snow Kin...

Harlow and Acyn have their happily ever after… Or so they thought. When their wedding is in jeopardy from outside forces and well-meaning family members, they decide to take matters into their own hands and escape to the Oregon coast. Follow their journey from there to the Beginning of Forever. This is book 2 in the Sunshine + Ace series. Book 1 is All I've Wanted, All I've Needed. My Review This is the second book I have read by author, A.E. but it will not be the last book. I did not realize that this book is book two in the Sunshine and Ace series. The first book is All I've Wanted, All I've Needed, which I have not read yet. Although, the book I did read was Colliding With Fate in which Harlow and Acyn did make appearances in.  Despite having not read book one I still felt like I had established emotional relationship with Harlow and Acyn. Therefore, I was able to read this book with ease. I could really feel the strong love that these two had for each other. It w...

Book Review: Colliding With Fate

Image
Kyrell Knight believes life is a game to be played and thoroughly enjoyed. He rarely takes anything seriously, lives in the moment, and indulges in as much pleasure with women as possible. But the sarcasm, money, and women are an attempt to erase the memories of his past as he tries to forget what he came from. It works until his past wants to be a part of his present. Kyrell reconnects with Quinn Halifax at their mutual best friend’s engagement party. They spark up a friendship that quickly turns to flames when it becomes a superficial, no strings attached relationship. Kyrell is struggling with his past while Quinn is trying to secure her future. Neither is looking for more, but fate has other plans. What happens when two people collide with fate? Content Advisory: child abuse, death, mentions of suicide My Review Wow. I was expecting the heat but author, A.E. Valdez really brought the heat. It was so hot that if I had been wearing glasses, they would have been fogged up from a...
