My Review
This book started out strong and I was hooked. I definitely felt the chemistry between Derek and Eva. Although, I did feel like Eva feel too quickly for Derek being someone who is a detective. I thought, she would be a bit more cautious of strangers. Yet, at the same time I can't really blame her as Derek instantly oozed appeal that I was drawn to him right away as well.
Derek may have seemed like a villain but there is more to him than first appearances. He is complex. Learning about his past helped to better understand why he did the things he did. He really had genuine feelings for Eva. Their attraction to one another is sizzling. They shared some very steamy scenes. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
