Book Contest...Big Sky Mountain

Hutch Carmody is about to make the biggest mistake of his life. Luckily for him, he figures it out before it is too late. Only, the mistake...leaving his bride to be at the altar.

Kendra Shepherd has recently returned to town. She did not return alone. She came back with Madison, her adopted four year old daughter. Kendra is fearful that Hutch will walk back into her life and break her heart again. She can not afford to let this happen. Although, Kendra can not stop Madison from falling for Hutch

Big Sky Mountain is the second book in the Parable series. The first book is Big Sky Country. While, you don't have to read the first book, it would be nice to as book one is where you get the background between Slade and Hutch as well as get introduced to some of the characters who return in Big Sky Mountain.

While, I did enjoy reading Slade's story in Big Sky Country, I really loved reading about Hutch's story in Big Sky Mountain. I did not realize that I was going to love Hutch as much as I came to. I thought Hutch was a jerk in the first book. In this book, Hutch was not only a loveable guy but he won my heart like he did with Kendra's heart. There was just one person that really stole the show for me in this book. It was Madison. The things she would say and do would make me chuckle. She is way smarter then her four years. Loved when Madison called Hutch "cowboy man". Kendra and Hutch's relationship was filled with chemistry but it was slow going in the beginning. This I could understand as Kendra was being cautious with both her heart and Madison. Big Sky Mountain soars! It is filled with great characters, great storyline, and a happy ending. I can not wait to read Boone's story in Big Sky River.

Anthony had the rough edged look I'd put with Hutch's character but I'll go with Gabe because he's adorable and I think under Hutches facade to look and be tough Gabe is who he really is. :) Besides Gabe has such kissable lips. lol
