I love VC Andrews. Her books are addictive and un-put-down-able. I have read just a few and have a lot of catching up to do. I hope to read and own all her books eventually. I purchase them piecemeal wherever I can find them. Library sales and thrift store shelves are good sources.

My favorite is probably FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC.

I heard once that there was talk of remaking the Flowers in the Attic movie and I really hoped someone in Hollywood would do it. I haven't heard anything else about it. I loved V.C. Andrews Casteel series. Though it was finished by a ghostwriter, the basis of the story never ceased to amaze me.
