Book Review: Flexible Standards

After her husband left her for his secretary, Isla needs a change of scenery. With her best friend inviting her to move to Las Vegas, and securing her a job as a librarian, there’s no time like the present to start fresh, beginning with her friend’s bachelorette party.

While at the party, Isla retreats to a small casino bar, avoiding the festivities. Only, her night of solitude comes to an end when she meets Sam—an incredibly attractive and smooth-talking Brit who enjoys an evening of reading, more than a night on the town.

Though they are otherwise an unlikely pair, Sam helps Isla regain the confidence she lost in her past relationship… one orgasm at a time.

Flexible Standards is a deliciously spicy eroticom novella, intended for mature audiences. Just because it's cute and funny at times, doesn't mean you should forget to check your content warnings…

My Review

Another fast and spicy read form Irene. I can't get enough of her books. As soon as a new one comes out, I am instantly reading it. Readers who have always dreamed of playing the sexy librarian, here is the book for you.

Isla and Sam's first meeting was perfect. Who wouldn't fall for a guy who not only reads but can talk the book lingo. Also, Sam is easy on the eyes, so that is a bonus. Sam and Isla brought the HEAT. I know what I will be dreaming about.

Warning: Smexy scenes!
