Book Review: Found in Death

Pain. Agony. Heartbreak.

Emotions that have become all too familiar.

Rage. Revenge. Retribution.

They're all I can think about, all my life has become. But what if there's more?

What if the anger can be met with love? What if I don't have to do this alone anymore? What if... what if they're the answer?

*Found in Death is book 2 in the Inked Souls Duet. This duet is a dark MMN-B (male/male/non-binary) romance. It is a why choose story, that means there will not be a choice made between the main character love interests and they will all end up together. Along with dark romance themes, violence, and sexual content, this story delves into the very real reality of grief and its effect, please check the content warnings before proceeding. The duet does end in a HEA but not before many, many tears are shed.

**Please note: Found in Death is book 2 in the duet and cannot act as a standalone. Book 1: Lost in Life is recommended to be read first.

My Review

I really enjoyed this conclusion to this duet. In this book, it was more emotional as Nova, West and Zayn navigate their relationship. I like that there were no labels on what they became. They just let things play out and progress naturally. This made the intimate scenes between them even better.

The way that the whole storyline played out was really good. It wrapped up the whole story very nicely. I have followed Kitty since her debut book, and I have to say that she is on an upward journey with her writing. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next.

Here are some of my favorite quotes from this book:

"I should hate him. I should want him to pay for what he's done. But I can't. Because even though he may have damned me. He also freed me."

"I never imagined my deepest desire would come to life, and never thought reality would exceed imagination."

"Because the three of us are tied now, and while I love Nova with every part of me, I won't feel complete without Zayn. Not anymore."

"This is where I was meant to be. All the heartache. All the pain. It had to happen for me to find this, to find them. "

"No matter what comes next, I know it'll be okay because we have each other."
