I can't say I really have a favorite black author. Maybe I don't pay enough attention, or maybe there just aren't very many black authors out there. I'm not sure, but I can't think of anyone at the moment.

Then again, for all I know, some of my favorite authors are black, I really don't pay much attention.

Maybe I'll discover some new favorites sometime after March 27th. =P

It's hard for me to pick a favorite, because I don't really pay attention to the ethnicity of the authors I read. I have only read one of her novels, but I thought Toni Morrison's writing was excellent, so I will choose her.
