Review:

I instantly, became a fan of this series and author from the first book. Luckily, my love did not stop with this second book. Although, I must admit that the story and action really seemed to start at the half way mark. Up until this point, it was mainly focused on Sawyer trying to find her way in the world now as a Carbon versus a Watcher. Not that I was really complaining as I like Sawyer. Being a Carbon made Sawyer more human (funny) and stronger at the same time. I use funny as Carbons are not human.

While, I would like to say that I was upset with Kenzie, I had no ill feelings towards him. He was as much a victim as Sawyer is of Coleman. Which, I hope that Coleman receives justice soon. The romance between Kenzie and Sawyer was still there but complicated.

As I said, previously, the second half of the story was filled with more action. Plus, we see Sawyer use some of her Carbon abilities. Finally, not to give anything away but the ending has left me anxiously awaiting the next book. Calling all fans of sci-fi and dystopian. You have to check out this series. It is filled with awesome goodness!
