Book Review: The Wrong Idea
Book two in the Wrighting the Wrongs series
Sebastian had the wrong idea about Calliope, and now he wants to make it right.
Calliope Harrison has enough on her plate, trying to get through college under the scrutiny of her overbearing father. She doesn’t need his TA, Sebastian Wrighting, analyzing her every move as well. Sebastian is the most arrogant man she’s ever met. He and the stick up his you-know-what are perfect for each other.
Sebastian may be lacking in certain social areas, but he is an excellent judge of character. All the evidence he’s gathered has determined that Calliope is a spoiled brat and deserves the tight rein his mentor, Professor Harrison, keeps on her.
As their paths continue to cross, every encounter gives them tantalizing glimpses into what the other person is truly like. The more they learn, the more they want to know. When Sebastian takes the first step toward bridging the gap, Callie chooses to meet him halfway. Maybe they can prove that two wrongs really can make a right.
My Review
Sebastian and Calliope together make a cute couple. She is a bit of a wild woman but not over the top. She and Sabastian are opposites. Yet, as the saying goes about opposites attract. I thought these two did balance each other out nicely.
I got to briefly know Sabastian from The Wrong Brother. So, I was looking forward to reading his story next. To be honest, I did not really know that he was neurodivergence until this book. Which does not matter as I still like Sabastian, I just thought he was very introverted when I met him in the first book.
This is a very slow burn romance. The bits of steam are nice. I am actually kind of glad that it was a slow burn based on who Sabastian is. It felt more authentic this way between Calliope and Sabastian. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. Sometimes the wrong idea is the right one.
