Book Review: Sunshine and Madness
I’M NOT READY TO FALL IN LOVE… BUT LUCAS DOESN’T GIVE ME A CHOICE.
Julia–I literally ran into the man at a bar. He threw his drink on me and was completely unapologetic about it. That obnoxious, yet incredibly hot rock star awoke something in me. It terrifies me. But I stand firm in my motto; you can’t lose something you never had. The only problem is the universe keeps bringing us together.
Lucas–The woman came crashing into my life, fire in those gorgeous eyes. Since that night, I haven’t been able to get her out of my mind. A series of events happen, forcing us to spend time with each other. She pushes my buttons, tests my patience, and before I know it, she has danced her way into my heart. I want her. But I’m afraid she won’t accept me because of my past.
LIFE AFTER MEETING JULIA IS NOTHING BUT SUNSHINE & MADNESS.
Sunshine and Madness is an enemies-to-lovers, forced-proximity, he-falls-first, rock star romance.
My Review
I love this book so much. Julia and Lucas first introduction to one another was not an instant hit. In fact, neither was their second encounter either. Yet, if a guy will come chasing after you threw a drink all over him, then he is worth giving a chance to. Lucas definitely fell first for Julia.
As sung by Lucas..."You came into my life, knocked me off its axis, I want you to know, you’re the sunshine to my madness."
Julia and Lucas sure shared some steamy moments together. Also, who knew that Lucas could cook. Although, these two would not have gotten together if not for Julia's best friend, Mia. I loved her, she is the best friend that all women need in their lives. I hope that I see her again in a future story and she gets her HEA.
