Instead, he’s unraveling mine.
Thread by thread.
Dangerous. Obsessive. Addictive.
He’s not the settling down type.
Too bad I’m not in the market for a fling.
I’ve played the game enough times to know a man like that is used to getting his way.
Before I can stop myself, I’m tangled in his dark web. Paralyzed by the way I want him.
The harder I push, the tighter he pulls.
It started as an attraction, but now it’s bordering on venomous.
My Review
Arlo is almost pitch black and I love him. The way that he is utterly "unhinged" for Cora is why we romance readers love our book boyfriends. If this was real life, Arlo would be someone to get a restraining order against. Yet, every obsessed man needs an equally strong woman. Cora is Arlo's equal.
The scene where Arlo broke into Cora's house and she had him arrested. As he was leaving in handcuffs, she tosses a smirk his way. I laughed out loud. If I had been taking a drink at that moment, I would have made a mess.
This book is addicting. It is venomous as once you start reading, Cora and Arlo will get into your veins, and you will be hooked by them. T.L., you are amazing. A must, read, five star, recommended read!

USA Today Best Selling Author T.L. Smith loves to write her characters with flaws so beautiful and dark you can’t turn away. Her books have been translated into several languages. If you don’t catch up with her in her home state of Queensland, Australia you can usually find her travelling the world, either sitting on a beach in Bali or exploring Alcatraz in San Francisco or walking the streets of New York.
