Book Review: Stop, Drop and Run

Adam Babcock, the once charismatic playboy of the University of Washington's Delta Tau Delta fraternity, has watched from the sidelines as his friends found love, longing for his own connection. Everything changes when he meets Daisy White.

Daisy, a standout cross-country and track star with fiery red hair and piercing blue eyes, instantly captivates Adam with her wit and spirit.

Their chemistry ignites into a blazing romance brimming with passion and excitement. But when Adam is called to battle a catastrophic wildfire in Yakima, Washington, he suffers severe injuries. He finds himself pushing Daisy away, convinced he can't offer her the future she deserves.

As Adam struggles with his emotional and physical scars, he and Daisy must confront their deepest fears and desires. Can their once-blazing flame endure the separation and pain, or will their challenges extinguish their love?

My Review

Group chats in books will never grow old. They are hilarious and really showcase the witty humor of all of the characters. Another fun chat was the one between Adam and Daisy. They got cheeky with each other. I love Adam's nickname for Daisy of "Wildfire".

While there was an attraction between these two, it was not something that caused them to jump right into a relationship. In fact, Daisy "friend zoned" Adam and he was trying to figure out how to show Daisy he wanted to be more than just "friends". Yet, after they did get together, the steaminess did rise.

Although, there was real emotions involved as well. What with Adam getting injured and pushing Daisy away. Only for him to realize that she stuck with him. I have not read the other books in this series, but I liked the other characters and do want to go back and read the prior novels to get to know them better. Stop and drop what you are reading and run and pick up a copy of this book!
