My Review

I did enjoy this darker romance read from the author's small town, Citrus Cove series. While it may be a departure from the other series, the emotional aspect is still there. When the emotions are real, it makes the story so much better. I loved every moment of this book. This age gap romance is just what I needed. I enjoyed that it featured Pepper as the older, mature, woman. Her ex-husband, Jeff is ugg. I could not stand him. It was great when Pepper would stand up to him and put him in his place. She deserved someone who treated her like a "Good Girl". Can we take a moment to talk about that scene where Pepper is waiting in line for her coffee and Salt is behind her and he whisper's "Good Girl." This book is so worth the read. It is not to be missed! Come get to know Salt but watch it as I have claimed him as "Mine".
