Book Review: Silver Fox Grump

“I can’t breathe without you.”

The morning after a little solo party mistake that leaves me with a black eye, I tell everyone at work that I tripped on the stairs.

Then my gorgeous, silver fox boss who I thought I was invisible to, walks in and snarls, “No more dancing on tables, Miss Matthews.”

And I go still. Because the only way he could know what really happened was if he could see what I was doing in my apartment.

Mr Blackwood is twice my age. He’s my dad’s best friend. And he’s watching me. He’s got cameras.

He knows all my secrets.

And I’m going to break him.

Silver Fox Grump is a sweet and spicy instalove forbidden romance with a stalker mafia boss who can’t resist his innocent girl.

My Review

As soon as Sev met Maisie, he was obsessed. He fell fast and hard for her.

"My wife-to-be, she just doesn't know it yet."

Although, I appreciate that he did not make the first move. It was Maisie that teased and asked Sev to kiss her. After that first kiss, it was game over for Sev as he needed more.

"Every day that I watch her, I fall for her more."

Maisie is a minx. She knew that Sev was spying on her and so she made sure to give him a good show. After the first kiss, I was anxiously awaiting their next one. I love Sev and Maisie.

"I crave your heart, and soul."

I loved the brief appearance of Sev's brothers, Vito and Rafe. Maisie's father going nuclear on Sev when he learned about Sev and Maisie had me laughing. He is a good father and loves Maisie a lot. I am obsessed with this book. A five star, must read!
