My Review

If you are familiar with Emily's writing, then you are aware that her books are dark. They FMC does not have an easy life. In fact, they experience trauma. This novella is no different. This novella kicks things off right in this series. 

The first opening scene is rough to read. However, readers will be happy to know that the MMCs get served just what they deserved in the end. I felt for Samara. Luckily, she gains the interest of three guys...Thane, Silas, and Joel. 

The guys do treat Samara horrible in the beginning. However, by the end of the story, they show that they would destroy anyone to protect Samara.
