Book Review: A Doll's Curse

Eighteen years ago, the Lull Lane Dollmaker made ten families porcelain dolls as gifts to welcome their children into the world. But what these families didn't know was that souls of the lullabies were poured into each one as they were created. Now, the dollmaker is coming to collect. One by one.

In this story, the Santos family deals with the consequences of past actions and the dark curses that threaten to destroy their future.

My Review

I don't know who to be more fearful of...Belinda or her doll, Pin. Pin might be putting ideas into Belinda's head, but I do think that if Pin was not there that Belinda would still want to cause harm.

Yes, this book is one of the best ones I have read so far in this series. It definitely gave me the "creepy doll" vibes that I was craving. Pin is evil. Every time that Pin glared with her black eyes or sang her song, you better beware.

This book besides the evil doll factor, was giving me Children of the Corn vibes. So, if you love to read horror books that just might give you nightmares, you will want to read this book. This book is also classified as splatterpunk.
