Book Review: Absinthe
My formless body seeps into you, filling every hollow, pulling your strings as you writhe beneath my will.
The urge to play gnaws at you--now me--craving the release of my twisted desires, my fingers tracing soft flesh, filling them with my puppet's dark hunger, his desperate need.
Together, we will destroy the night, slipping through the filth.
His body, my vessel.
My mind, his chains.
Drawn to the rot festering beneath their skin, we hunt the ones who sell flesh, who trade lives after birth. The itch to un-alive consumes us; the hunter swells, and we drown in the blood of those we claim.
I've been unleashed.
I am in your veins.
I am more than whispers in the dark.
I am ABSINTHE, and you are my puppet.
My Review
This is the second book I have read by this author. Two completely different books. There are not many things that surprise me anymore with these types of books. I love to read the darker the better. Well, I do have to give credit to Shannon as she did get me.
Star and Keith share the same target goal...to take down the evil. Absinthe is happy to feed this need that Star and Keith have. Keith and Star are fine and to be honest, they may not have found the motive if not for Absinthe. Absinthe is the star of the story.
Absinthe is a freak and if you make their acquaintance, then it is not good for you.
If you are looking for something new to read, that will mess with your mind, then pick up this book now.
