My Review

Having followed Janie since the first book in this series, I was invested in her. In this book, which I thought was a fitting conclusion to this series, we learn about Janie/Hope's past. Having Janie learn the truth about her past came full circle for this series. Especially where Catalina and her mother, Lizzie are concerned.

I thought the romantic relationship between Janie and Noah was sweet. I like that it was not very prominent in this story. There were just a few quick scenes shared between these two. In fact, if you took out the romance, I actually would have been fine with there not being a romantic element in the story.

The other cast of characters introduced in this story were great. I loved DD, the dog. Also, Aunt Renee, Uncle Randy, and Janie's other relatives. They are all so welcoming and instantly, I felt a connection with them.
