Book Review: Skater Boy

What to Expect:

  • Childhood celeb crush
  • Bad boy
  • Star crossed
  • Stalking
  • Second chance
  • Skater girl
  • Found family
  • A little bit of masked mmc

I lost my virginity to a masked man and swore off dating for good.

Everyone in my small town knows about Patchwork House, just like everyone knows I'm the only girl they ever let inside.
No one knows that one boy was willing to take a chance on me.

A boy who then vanished without ever letting me see his face.

Now, I’ve come home to find my celebrity crush sleeping in the room next door. The best skater in the world. Someone whose shirtless posters I had on my wall is saying things like “you belong to me” and “it’s always been you.”
I only know him from magazines.

So why does he look at me like I'm already his?

My Review
Tweetie is used to having to prove herself. All she wanted to do is to skateboard. While all the other boys made fun of her and told her she was not welcome at the skate park; there was one that helped her learn how to skateboard. As Tweetie grew up, she wanted to be like Flip, famous skateboarder.

Tweetie has two guy friends King and Daniel. They are very protective of Tweetie. No guy will date her due to King and Daniel. There is one that is not afraid. It is Flip. Yes, this Flip. He and Tweetie form a strong connection that is not just physical but emotional.

"Not leaving until I make you love me."

Tweetie and Flip's romance story does not come easy. It is like skateboarding. You just have to get out there and give it a try. You might crash and burn but you may also succeed. You won't know if you don't give love a chance. I love this book so much and can't wait to read book two.
