Book Review: Trinity of Blood

 


For fans of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, Tombstone, The Lost Boys, and True Blood, the Trinity of Blood MM to MMF vampire romance saga follows a triad of fated mates as they cross oceans of time, face the demons on their trail, and stake their claim on the happiness they deserve. Part One: Bury Me With My Boots On (1885)

In the boomtown of Opalite, Damon's future is as predictable as the familiar rotation of evening customers at the House of Eternal Moonlight. Bury Me with My Boots On

A MM PNR story that takes place in the Wild West...sign me up! That is all I needed to know and the fact that the novella is written by C. Rochelle

Damon has never met anyone like Max. As soon as Max appears in town, he instantly claims Damon. I felt the strong pull right away. Max calling Damon "pet". Um, yes!

"And what a pretty little distraction he is."

The last several chapters really pick up steam with the storyline. We start to really see Damon and Max get closer, just for a bit of a cliffhanger ending. Book two...yes, please!


Vampires Totally Suck 

The first book in this trinity, got things started. This next installment in this trinity, turned up the heat! I fell in love with Damon and Max even more. Their relationship has grown stronger. You can see that in this story. Damon is not as timid. He likes to push Max's buttons and in exchange Max "teaches" him lessons about just who is in charge. Damon has a new nickname in addition to "Pet". he is also called "Good Boy".

"Max's scent was whiskey and cloves, and hot..."

OMG. I laughed when Star stepped on a half-eaten pepperoni pizza Hot Pocket and said, "Gag me with a spoon." She is a great addition to this duo. The duo went from level five to level ten with the addition of Star. So ready to continue this steamy journey with Max, Damon, and Star. 


Come Out & Prey

Daddy Max is yummy. Damon the boy toy. Star the gothic firecracker. These three steam up the pages of this trinity. Yet, to get their HEA, they sure did have to fight for it. By fight I do mean literally fight. This is because Vlad is here and he is not happy. 

"My Mates. My Home. The happiness I deserve."

Ok, so Vlad is a meanie. He makes Max looks like a saint. Yet, with the addition of Vlad, it made this story very intriguing. While I am sad to see this trilogy come to an end, I had fun and Damon, Max, and Star will take a piece of my heart.
