Big Top Pizzeria is a notorious mall pizzeria known for its smiling employees dressed in classic clown attire and hot pies topped with the most delicious and freshest meats. A true one-of-a-kind experience customers of all ages can appreciate… as long as you don’t mind the occasional rat or two.
The best part of Big Top is its top-notch employees, including Crissa, the green-haired social outcast who possesses a truly dangerous appetite, hungry for more than just pizza. While she may struggle to find a true friend, finding herself abandoned by her once friend group, she realizes it’s never too late to make one…especially if said friend has all the best parts of her old ones.
What better dish to serve those who turned their backs on her than a hot, cheesy slice of revenge.
Clowns, Pizza, Revenge.
Will they survive?
My Review
Crissa is just trying to get by working at a pizza place. She sure is not doing it for the love or ugly uniform. To make matters worse she has to deal with a group of former friends that includes the new girl, they ditched Crissa for.
Crissa stumbles across an old, mysterious book. Next thing she knows, she ends up making a deal with a demon named, Zeth. What transpires afterwards is lots of gore, body parts, and maybe a change of heart about pizza.
If you see the face of Zeth, it is already too late. The scenes are bloody and almost what you would encounter in a splatterpunk book. The nostalgia of the eighties theme is awesome. I love this dynamic duo of Ab. and Aimee. Beware the nightshift! It is a killer!
The Nightshift is a dark, classic 80's horror with gore, erotic horror, and numerous dark themes. Please check triggers prior to reading.
