My Review

If you like sexy, tall, dark, strong men, then, you will like this book. This book combines both Mafia and vampire. Just like the first book in this series, I enjoyed this one. It corporates two of my favorite tropes...enemies to lovers and forced proximity. 

When Luca first took Siobhan, there was no love lost between them. Neither wanting to give in. I did feel for Siobhan as she felt a bit like she was a pawn in a dangerous game that she did not ask to be a part of. Yet, as the story progressed Luca showed kindness towards Siobhan. 

The spice level is a slow burn one but worth the wait. The story does pick up more steam in the latter half of the story. I like the dark, gritty elements of the story. The audiobook is where it is at. Narration by Dani Soleil and Aiden Snow. They bring the voices of Siobhan and Luca to life.
