Book Review: Nevada Volume
Just sign on the dotted line…
Elizabeth
Getting treated like a little girl by my dad always struck a nerve, and it’s made that much worse when his new flavor of the month turns out to be a ditzy twenty-something year old younger than I am. To add insult to injury, my dad thinks he can berate me in front of one of his best friends and make me fall into line. But I’ve never respected my dad enough to obey him, but in the eyes of his best friend I always wanted to be the good girl.
Tristan
Watching my best friend lay into his daughter isn’t my favorite pastime, and the problem with Elizabeth is she needs a firm hand and a little bit of tough-love discipline to help her stay on track. I don’t think she’s ever met someone who she respects enough to give up control like that, but given a little time and a lot of trust I fully believe we can work through the error of her ways and get her back in her dad’s good graces. If all else fails, she can work on being Daddy’s good girl at my house instead.
A fast burn, daddy’s best friend, secret society romance where a little bit of discipline can go a long way.
Nevada Volume is the fourth book in the Off Grid Billionaires series and can be read completely as a stand alone. All trigger warnings are listed within the book and directly on my website. Special editions can be found on my website and on Beventi.
My Review
Another steamy addition to this series. I love a taboo, age gap romance.
Lizzie may be thirty and can make her own decisions but tell this to her father. He still tries to control her like she is a teenager. This is where Tristan comes into the picture. He offers his residence to Lizzie.
There is not much lead up before these two become intimate. Toys in the right hands of a partner can be very enjoyable for both parties. Talk about one heck of a steamy scene involving Tristan's boot.
The brief mentions of some of the other characters from prior books is a nice touch. I like the interconnections.
