Book Review: Deadly Rival

I've waited ten years to punish her.

Ophelia, the Calder family’s untouchable princess, drove my sister to take her own life. Now I'm taking hers - and I'm going to make her my obedient little pet. All brothers must choose a Ward, and she’ll be mine. Forever.

She'll dance at the end of my leash while her father's spies report every humiliating detail back to him. And when he comes for me, the Brotherhood will wipe him off the map.

A perfect plan. Except it isn't.

When Randall Calder demands my head in a box and the Brotherhood gives it serious consideration, I realize I've miscalculated. Now, my only hope for survival lies in the girl I've stripped bare, body and soul.

My Review
I enjoyed this newest book in this series. In this book, Sebastian has a connection to his "Ward". It is personal this time. Ophelia will discover just what she is made of and how strong she is.

Sebastian took me back a little by the fact that he was not as aggressive as the other guys. There were moments where he would do something or say something but not with as much "growl" behind it. Not that this is a bad thing. This I believe is largely due to the personal connection that Sebastian shared with Ophelia.

As the story progressed, I did grow closer to Sebastian. Ophelia on the other hand, I liked right away. This would not be a Zara book without the spicy goodness!
