Touching the Clouds

Kate Evans feels like she needs a major change in her life. She called off her wedding and is moving to Alaska to become a bush pilot. When Kate arrives, she starts having second thoughts. Kate quickly adjusts to life in Alaska and makes some friends.

Paul Anderson lives alone in the Alaskan wilderness. It has been a while since Paul has had any romantic feelings for a woman. So it surprises him when Paul goes into to shop for supplies and meets Kate. Kate and Paul set up a date to go up in Kate’s plane in the spring.

Touch the Clouds is book one in the Alaskan Skies series. It also is the first book I have read by author, Bonnie Leon. I really got into this book. It was like I was there with Kate. This book was so enjoyable to read not only for the great characters and storyline but because I love everything about aviation. So this book was right up my alley. I have to give credit to the women and men who fly as bush pilots. It is dangerous enough flying but I can’t imagine flying in the Alaskan wilderness every day. My only criticism I ha with this book was that for about the first half of the story, Paul and Kate were suppose to have this romance but they never crossed paths except for the first time. Touch the Clouds will have you soaring for more!
