Book Review: Wraith
They killed me.
I was their fated mate, and they deliberately killed me.
They laughed while I took my last breath, but they won’t be laughing for long.
I don’t deserve my fate—and they don’t deserve my forgiveness.
Now, I’m back, and I refuse to rest until I drag them to the grave with me.
They can’t run.
They can’t hide.
They can’t bury the past as easily as they buried me.
And I won’t let them.
Because even death won’t stop me from making them mine.
This is seriously dark. Like so dark even fog lights can't pierce it. Please check trigger warnings at the beginning of the book before reading. Your mental health matters.
My Review
If I am honest, Lily is someone that is forgettable. Yet, in death she is reborn as Lilith. She is someone to be feared in death. I did feel for her and the event leading to her death and how the guys; Lucien, Thorne, Aeron, Ciaran and Kael treated her. Because of how horrible they were towards Lily/Lilith, I did not feel sorry for them when Lily/Lilith turned her rage on them.
Out of the five guys, Lucien was the meanest. Claran has a bit of a soft spot for Lily but when it came time for him to save her, he was just a "follower". Although that shared moment between them when it was his time, was an emotional one. Even in death, the guys will always be Lilith's.
If you are going into this book expecting a romance, you will be disappointed. This is not that type of book. Yet, if you like to read dark books with touches of horror, you are in the right place. This is one book that you will get lost in reading. I dare you to put it down until you have finished it.
