About the book:
The youngest royal heir is dead—turned to stone by an ancient curse. Desperate to stop its spread, the king embarks on a dangerous quest to find the lost princesses of the enemy kingdom. But the lost heirs, Naithea and Darcia, are unaware of their true heritage.

Naithea Utari is trapped in a luxurious brothel, bound by a cruel mistress who holds her freedom hostage. Meanwhile, Darcia Voreia, an illusionist enslaved in her stepbrother’s circus, longs for a life untethered.

As their world crumbles, the sisters are thrust into a storm of destiny and destruction. To save those they love, they must confront their past, their powers, and the truth about who they are—before magic is destroyed forever.

Are you ready to enter their world? ✨

My Review

Naithea and Darcia are sisters, but they have not seen each other or know that each other exist. This is because they were separated and raised in two different worlds and lifestyles. Naithea works in a brothel and Darcia works at a circus under the evil rule of her stepbrother. Regarding the two sisters' stories, I felt like Naithea's was a bit more interesting. This is only because of the fact that she was not tied down like Darcia. Naithea was to go on a journey. Yet, when it came to both sister's abilities, I thought they both were equal. Naithea and Commander Ward share a romantic relationship that was enemies to lovers. Darcia had a love too and her name was Caeli. While not a love interest, Alasdair aka The Midnight Thief, helped Darcia. He was kind of a dark horse as you did not really know if you could trust him or not. Luckily, he turned out to be an ally. This book is split into two parts. The second half of the story is where it really picked up and moved along. It is where we see more of Naithea and Darcia come into their abilities more and use them. Readers of romantasy books will want to pick up this book. The world and the characters are great.
