What Abby had to endure from her husband, Frank was hard to read. Every time that she went back to him and forgave Frank, i would cringe. Luckily, for her, Dawson would not give up on Abby. Sadly, he experienced firsthand the tragic results of physical abuse in a relationship and that is why he was not going to let that happen to Abby.
I enjoyed the fact that the romantic aspect between Abby and Dawson was light. Also, it did not happen until like the last third of the story. While I was happy that Abby found real love again, it felt better that their relationship did not start until much later in the story. I really enjoyed this book and do plan to check out other books by this author.
