Book Review: My Way Home + Giveaway

Using his wits and environment, Kit embarks on this miniature odyssey through a lushly illustrated world. My Review This is a charming story. I like all of the illustrations. They look almost like watercolors. They are beautiful. They really help bring the story to life. Kit goes on quite the adventure. A fox came into their village and ate their supply of nuts and took off with a crystal around its neck. Kit is determined to get the crystal back. This is where the journey starts. She travels through the forest and crosses a river. Luckily, for her she is able to retrieve the crystal and make her way safely home. She learned that people are more important than items. Holly writes a good story. I was engaged in the storyline and Kit. I did find that it was easy to read this book without a lot of big words. So, the young readers can read without much adult assistance. My niece did like this book, but she liked the illustrations a lot.
