A Circle of Souls

I want to thank Mr. Grandhi for sending me a copy of his book to review.

When nine year old, Janet doesn't come home from school, her parents get worried. Unfortunately the search for Janet ends in terrible sadness. Her body is found at Elephant Rock in pieces.

The local authorities call on FBI special agent Leia Bines to help solve the case. Leia discovers that all of Janet's body parts were not just scattered but instead left methodically to form a large stick figure, as if for sacrificial purposes.

Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury’s hospital has a new patient that has left him perplexed. Naya Hastings is seven years old. Her parents brought her in. Naya has night terrors. Naya starts having dreams about Janet. She swears that Janet visits her in her sleep. The amazing thing is the images Naya has drawn. Now in order for Janet's killer to be brought to justice, she will have to relay on Naya, Dr. Gram and Leia to caught the killer before he strikes again.

A Circle of Souls is Preetham Grandhi debut novel. A Circle of Souls is a brilliant, psychological thriller that will leave you memorized. It will have you questioning legends from reality. All of the characters had really great dimension. I could connect with them all. At first I wasn't sure how much I would like this book, only because of the fork lore elements mixed in with the story line but I enjoyed this novel so much that I read it in one afternoon. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

I usually balk at books about the death of a child, but this one sounds terrific. :-) Thanks for the review.
