As the times change and we move forward into the twenty-first century, you have to wonder now what will the gods do? Well you don’t have to worry anymore as the mystery has been solved in Gods Behaving Badly. Come join Artemis; goddess of hunting, who is now a professional dog walker, Aphrodite; goddess of beauty and telephone sex operator, Apollo; god of the sun and television’s psychic guru and the rest of the twelve Greek gods and goddess as they learn to adapt to modern times; while living with each other in one household. It will be one of the craziest as well as funniest times to be had by all.

I have been wanting to read this book ever since I first heard about it. I have to admit that Gods Behaving Badly was so much better then I thought it would be. It was pure gold. I haven’t had this much fun and enjoyment reading a book in a while. I thought I knew everything there was about these Greek gods and goddess but I was wrong…way wrong. Take Apollo for example, here is a very good-looking god who you would assume would have no problems winning the ladies but like any other male either gods or human; Apollo can actually lose the girl. Then there is Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, who has such a potty mouth that she, could even make a sailor blush with the things she says. It takes a good storyteller in addition to a creative imagination to come up with these types of crazy antics in Gods Behaving Badly and I credit it all to a wonderful new author by the name of Marie Phillips. I can’t imagine how Ms. Phillips will top Gods Behaving Badly but I am sure she will give it her best with her next novel.
