Book Review: Oklahoma Volume
Just sign on the dotted line…
Hayden
Invited to a party with people outside my social circle, I decide to take a step away from my introvert comforts and party with the wild, rich kids who live nearby. I just wanted to go along for the ride and maybe keep my eyes on the approaching storm, but ending up in the trunk like an afterthought wasn’t part of the plan.
Keith
Nomadic living is a big deal in my line of work, and chasing storms is a fun pastime. I never find wayward college kids though, much less one left in a trunk whose heart beats with the same wild thrill for nature that mine does. When all is said and done, I might just have to make her an offer she’s never had before.
My Review
This book was giving me "Twister" vibes a little. Just not as intense. This novella is definitely a quickie read. Adrenaline, outcast, and protector = steamy read!
I like Keith. He has a kind heart. Instead of taking advantage of the situation Hayden found herself in, he was respectful and made sure she was aware of what she was signing up for with the OGB contract. Once Hayden understood what she was agreeing to for one night, this is where the temperature rose.
A fast burn, storm chaser, age-gap romance. This is part of a series of novellas written based on locations I travel to for book signings. Each book can be read entirely as a stand alone in any order.
