Book Review: Their Brutal Mercy

I built my life on the ruins he left behind and told myself I was stronger than the girl who would have bled for him. I swore I would never let him touch me again, but some loves don’t die—they wait. They fester. They turn feral. Now he stands in front of me like a storm I thought I survived. He betrayed me, and somehow, he is still the only thing that feels like home. His presence is an all-consuming force that burns through every ounce of anger I try to hold onto. I hate him for what he did. I hate that I can’t stop myself from falling for them, but I don’t know how to breathe in a world where their brutal mercy doesn’t exist.

My Review

Raelynn is a feisty woman boss. Thus, it only makes sense that she has three men at her feet. They are Thor, Callum, and Anton. I instantly fell for Thor. He really knew how to push Raelynn's buttons and bring out her "bratty" side. Next favorite is Anton. He has a cheeky side but not as much as Thor and then there is Callum.

The dynamics of this group just vibed so well. Each one of their personalities just added to the next ones. It is not all fun and games. You know what I mean if you have read any of Emily's books. Yet, Raelynn with the help of the men work through it.

THIS IS A DARK ROMANCE WITH HEAVY TRIGGERS. READER'S DISCRETION IS HIGHLY ADVISED.
