Book Review: Captive in the Deep
She’s a witch who always gets what she wants. And right now, she wants him.
Esmé doesn’t just run one of Las Vegas’s most exclusive clubs; she commands it. She’s a legend in Sin City, and she’s used to being the one in control and the one holding the leash. But when she lays eyes on Bren, a haunted man with a voice like honey and eyes like the Caribbean, her carefully constructed rules begin to bend.
Bren is a naga with a dark past and a beast inside him that he’s kept caged for years. He’s terrified of his own feral nature, convinced that surrendering to his desires means destroying everything in his path. He wants to be hers, but he’s afraid to show her the truth of what he is.
Esmé isn’t looking for a good boy. She’s looking for a beast. And she’s determined to dismantle Bren’s armor piece by piece and see who he is beneath. But when the fangs come out and the paralytic venom takes hold, Esmé realizes that trusting him is about more than just surviving—it’s about surrendering to a hunger that has no end.
Captive in the Deep is a story in the Scorching in Sin City world which follows the intimate lives of the paranormal denizens of Las Vegas. If you enjoy spicy, fast burns, sassy heroines finding their power, and monsters you love to crush on, this book is for you.

My Review
Ooh, I really liked this newest addition in the sin city world. Esme always brings it when she is around. What with her magic. She has had plenty of suitors, but Bren is just what she needs.
"You are exactly who I want. And I always get what I want, darling."
Bren brings a sexy appeal to him as well as a bit of mystery as well. I like that Bren allowed Esme to be in charge first. When it was his turn, he brought it. Esme and Bren get their groove on and make sweet music!
