Audiobook Reviews: More Harry

 

Pondville’s general store is being robbed! Harry’s first challenge as the new sheriff in town is to form a posse and catch the thieves. Humorous and daring antics ensue as these oddball characters engage in an attempt to nab the perpetrators. Excitement, lessons, and laughter await in this action adventure where the hooligans learn crime does not pay and neither does caving in to peer pressure or rude, cheeky behavior.

My Review

Haha. Antics galore are had in this next book in this series. Harry is getting better and stronger. I mean like who is the new sheriff of Pondville. Harry will have his work cut out for himself as there are thieves abound. 

I am growing closer with all of the townsfolk of Pondville. They are entertaining. Harry is lucky to have good friends, who have his back. 

Steven Gillen again narrates this audiobook. It is very nice to have the same narrator for all the books. I have gotten used to his voice and it keeps consistency with all of the characters to have Steven voicing the audiobook. 

Wreck is falling apart!

My Review

As I have read or I should say "listened" to all of the audiobooks in this series, at this point I feel like Harry and the other residents of Pondville are friends of mine. Harry may be the sheriff and main character as his name is on the title of all of the books, but the rest of the characters are main characters as well. 

Professor Ludwig is still tinkering with new inventions. I am very intrigued with what Professor Ludwig invents. He keeps things interesting for sure. Another fun and entertaining time with Harry and friends. 

Thunderstorms, a hurricane’s whirling winds, an earthquake … what’s next?

Extreme weather takes friends in Florida by surprise when whirling winds carry them northward into Canada and land them—broken and bruised—in Pondville. There, a giant sinkhole caused by an earthquake is discovered.

A beloved building is leaning toward the sinkhole. Harry and the other Pondville residents try a solution offered by their new Florida friends.

Danger, more mishaps, and cooperation make for an exciting, fast-paced adventure. But will they succeed in preventing disaster?

My Review

Harry and the gang encounter new people when the weather changes. The change with the new introduction of new characters was fun. With today's climate change, I could see elements of present day in this story with hurricanes and potholes. 

Sally is lucky that she was rescued from one of the potholes as she would have been a goner. They can appear suddenly without warning. This is where one of Professor Ludwig's inventions would come in very handy. 

Continue this new adventure with Harry, Sally, and the rest of Pondville residents. Although, I suggest for a truly fun experience to grab the audiobook as well.
