Audiobook Review: Duke

Duke was always a good boy but when an ominous cloud rises out of the darkness something happens that changes everything. "As he lies in his doghouse, he begins to hear the high-pitched humming grow louder and louder until his ears perk up. He slowly stands and cocks his head in the direction of where it is coming from before he emits a low threatening growl. His body stiffens as if to alert his owner of an unknown dangerous presence. However, when the sound becomes almost deafening, he peeks out and sees the huge black cloud circle around his owner’s house."

My Review

If you like Stephen King and got chills from Cujo, you will want to check out this book. If you want a heightened experience, grab the audiobook. Narrator, Gabrielle Moore does a good job of voicing the audiobook.

There are no winners in this story. What I mean by this is that Duke was a loyal family dog. Unusual circumstances changed Duke. What transpires next is a family changed forever but before the conclusion, there will be blood.

So, if you have about an hour to kill, now is the perfect time to listen to this audiobook.
