My Review
I was really looking forward to all of the laughs that I was sure I would find reading this collection of short stories. I was still waiting after reading about a dozen of the stories. Sadly this collection was not as funny as I had hoped for.
Some of the stories I liked better than others. What I did like was the facts about some of the different locations like the Eiffel Tower has 120 antennas on it, the US Army had a Camel Corps back in the late nineteenth century stationed in California, and Shanghai has the largest bus system in the world to name a few. Also, the travel tips were very informative and helpful for the next time that I take a trip anywhere. As I stated, even if this book was not for me, I still would like to take a cruise someday.
