Book Review: Madness Becomes Her
Finlo Pennington, or Hatter, was a curious blend of happiness and madness, contentedly navigating the whimsical chaos of Wonder Territory. That was until the day she appeared.
With an unexpected tumble through a mysterious hole in the earth, Elenor plunged into an astonishing new reality—an enchanting world where animals could speak and every inhabitant exhibited their own delightful eccentricities. In this peculiar land, tea time was a sacred tradition, clothes were optional, and everyone was a tad off-center.
To find her way back home, Elenor must forge a deal with the enigmatic Hatter. But as she delves deeper into his unpredictable realm, she begins to question just how sane he truly is and just how much madder she’s become.
**This is an Alice in Wonderland, spicy reimagining
My Review
When I tell you that K.M. slayed it with this book, I mean she SLAYED it!! I have read many retellings of Alice in Wonderland as I am sure many others have. Yet, I have to tell you that reading this book was like a breath of fresh air. It did not feel like reading something I already have read.
I was so "lost" in this story. I mean this in a great way. Once I started reading, there was no tearing me away from the book. Everything else just disappeared. I know K.M. can bring the "spice" but this time she brings it with the "slow burn". OMG. The slow burn between Eleanor aka Alice and Finlo aka The Mad Hatter is the chef's kiss!
Everything about this book is amazing. A strong storyline featuring amazing characters. Don't walk but run/smash that purchase button and devour this book now!
